Martin Retro Series

Chris Martin's vision for the Martin Retro Acoustic Guitar Series is to perfectly capture the mystique and tonal emotion of priceless, pristine and well-aged Martin guitars. The groundbreaking Retro Series represents the most significant advancement of our era in amplified acoustic guitar sound.

With modern performance and playability, the Martin 000-18E Retro Acoustic Guitar offers the visual and tonal integrity of the genuine mahogany auditorium guitars from the pre-war era. Based on a 1940 14-fret 000-18 guitar from the Martin Museum collection, this 24.9" short scale model produces clear and expressive response for both stage or studio use.

Classic and enhanced, the Martin D-35 Retro Acoustic Guitar appointments include a three-piece back, black pickguard, ivoroid bindings and a certified European Spruce soundboard with thin 1/4" width bracing. With electronic imaging contributed from a 1967 vintage Martin D-35 guitar, the resulting acoustic as well as amplified tone is projective, balanced and resonant. The visual appeal of the original Martin D-35 is captured and blended with a High Performance Neck® taper for easy action and enhanced playability.

The Martin OM-28E Retro Acoustic Guitar carries a distinct vintage-inspired design with modern playability. A modern re-creation of the classic Martin Orchestra model, the Martin OM-28E Retro is ideal for the guitarist who enjoys fingerstyle techniques.

The Martin D-18E Retro Acoustic Guitar features a sleek, modern High Performance Neck for enhanced playability. The D-18E Retro adds a Solid Sitka Spruce top to the genuine Mahogany back and sides.
