With a design that reflects the golden era of mandolin building, the American Series FF mandolin combines the best traditional construction elements with Breedlove's cutting edge aesthetics and attention to detail. The F-style mandolin features a Florentine body design, with f-holes. The result is a mandolin with a deeper, throatier voice, with lots of bark and plenty of bass. The solid Sitka spruce top and flamed maple back and sides complement these features, and add robust projection. The Breedlove mandolin 13-15/16" scale, 1-3/16" nut width, and 16" radius provides comfort and accessibility when playing up and down the mandolin's 20 frets. The maple neck and ebony bridge and fretboard provide amazing clarity and sustain, while also making the mandolin incredibly sturdy.
