The Breedlove KO mandolin features a single oval sound hole, producing sound that is loud, and punchy. The solid Sitka spruce top and flamed maple back and sides complement these features, and add robust projection, so this K-style mandolin can be heard no matter what arrangement you find yourself in. The 13-15/16" scale, 1-3/16" nut width, and 16" radius provides comfort and accessibility when playing up and down the instrument's 20 frets. The maple neck along with the ebony bridge and fretboard provide amazing clarity and sustain, while also making the Breedlove mandolin incredibly sturdy. It is dressed in a smooth satin finish, with Gotoh M120-N tuners, chrome hardware, and Includes a Breedlove deluxe hardshell mandolin case.
