These guitars represent the true American spirit, using quality parts and Breedlove's famous craftsmanship, producing instruments that will stand the test of time and look absolutely beautiful in the process.

Built for center-stage, the concert body on this Breedlove American Series C25/SSe Acoustic-Electric Guitar is designed to minimize overtones during a performance. The body width and depth produces balanced tone without the boomy bass or reverberation of a traditional dreadnought. The impressive balance and projection are substantial musical features on this beauty. Because of these qualities, the concert body lends itself perfectly for fingerpicking, while still sounding great for playing in any style.

The solid spruce top and sapele back and sides offer a balanced midrange with lots of bold projection. The soft cutaway adds comfort for accessing the upper frets. The ebony fingerboard, and the one-piece mahogany neck produce rich clarity from note to note. The C25/SSe's 25-1/2" scale, 1-3/4" nut width, and 16" radius offer comfort for intricate finger movements, and the gloss finish adds a high-end shine.

At the heart of the C25/SSe is the L.R. Baggs Element Active VTC Pickup System, letting you amplify your guitar quickly and easily. The Element Active Volume and Tone control (VTC) pairs the Element under-saddle transducer with a pre-contoured all-discrete class-A endpin preamp, and includes a small soundhole-mounted volume and tone control for added convenience and versatility.

The C25/SSe Breedlove Custom Shop steel string guitar uses the JLD Bridge Truss system. This device is a cantilevered truss that helps to counterbalance string tension at the bridge, creating a relaxed top and improved structural integrity. This allows the top to be braced in a very progressive way, with a focus on realizing the full acoustic potential of the top. Other appointments include ivoroid body binding, Breedlove abalone rosette, single-action soundhole adjustable truss rod, ebony pinless "winged" bridge with J.L.D. bridge truss system, scalloped bracing, one-piece mahogany neck, Breedlove pearl dot position markers, ivoroid heel cap, asymmetrical Breedlove headstock with ebony overlay, and Gotoh 381 tuners.

Breedlove American Series guitars feature a radiused fingerboard for ease of playability and comfort.
