2016 Martin Custom Shop OM-42 VTS Sitka Cocobolo Rosewood #1761146

This guitar is amazing! It belonged to a client who purchased it from our store during a Martin Guitar Experience in 2016. The yellow spec sheets were hung from the guitar stand. 

It is in excellent condition! You will find light handling wear including a few pick marks on the pickguard, and one ding on the back of the neck. The ding more breaks the finish which makes it look worse than it is. The VTS Sitka Top is super dark - Martin used to have a couple stages of the VTS and this guitar has M2 VTS. 

This OM is one of the loudest I've played. It has a big bold voice and sound sweet fingerpicked as well. A lower saddle was installed, and the original saddle is included. 

All Martin Guitars from this ear are suspect to have binding issues. The back binding, at the waist on the bass and treble sides is exhibiting the first signs of separation - I can feel the slightest lip of it pulling up and you can see a hairline gap. Also, the corners of the neck binding near the soundhole have flexed. There is a small gap at those corners.
