Fender Vintage Custom 1959 Stratocaster
1959 was a pivotal year in the history of the Stratocaster. It was the first year that modern features - such as the rosewood fingerboard made their initial appearance.
This NEW Vintage Custom 1959 Stratocaster sports both a slab rosewood fingerboard and a Candy Tangerine finish, as well as some other cool and rare features from the Stratocaster's formative years.
Features & Specifications
The flash-coat lacquer finish lets the guitar breathe more freely and organically for singing sustain and warm tone. The neck features a vintage 7.25" - 9.5" compound radius, which Fender found on some rare examples, giving it a unique feel even among vintage inspired models.It also features medium vintage frets, which are slightly larger than regular vintage and very comfortable to play.
Other features found on this guitar include a 2-piece select alder body, tinted rift sawn maple neck with '59 "C" shaped neck profile, 21 medium vintage frets, hand wound '59 Strat single-coil pickups, 5-way switch, vintage wiring, 3-ply mint green nitrocellulose pickguard, American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, bone nut, wing string tree and vintage-style tuning machines.
Includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
