Gibson J45

The Gibson J-45 flat-top guitar first appeared in 1942.

The J-45, Gibson’s “Workhorse” acoustic - is certainly not their fanciest guitar, but it has endured over the decades as an instrument of choice for many, including guitarists Lightnin’ Hopkins, Buddy Holly, David Gilmour and many more.

World renowned for its full, balanced expression, warm bass and excellent projection, the Gibson J-45 Vintage Sunburst Standard has been refined to carry this legacy to new heights.

The new Gibson 50s J-45 Original model flaunts vintage-inspired detailing from the golden era of Gibson.

This 60s J-45 Original offers a period-correct 1 11/16’’ nut width, which allows for comfortable fingering in any position along the mahogany neck.

Built upon the famous J-45 platform the Gibson J-45 Deluxe offers custom features throughout.

The Gibson J-45 Vintage Sunburst Standard is now available in a new 12-string acoustic electric version.
