About This Guitar

Martin Custom HD Style 28 Marquis Adirondack Ziricote #2548231

This is a super cool Martin Custom Shop guitar that was available for purchase during my dealer visit to the Martin factory in October 2022! 

It features specs akin to the discontinued HD-28V and D-28 Marquis. This set of Ziricote is looking great. The Adirondack Spruce Top is nice and straight. 

Though Ziricote looks like a Rosewood and is built on the Style 28, it does not feature the muddy overtones like standard Rosewoods. The note separation is a little more clear and the trebles slightly more present! It is a very fun and powerful Dread!

The bracing is forward shifted with Golden Era Scalloping. The top is the right species and the bracing is the right pattern for a fun and full sounding Martin Custom Dreadnought!!
