Martin Style 28 Customs

The second part of the Martin Guitar hyphenated nomenclature is usually a number. It refers to the ornamentation of the guitar, as well as cluing us in on what tone woods were used in its construction.

Style 28 has slightly more intricate ornamentation compared to Style 18.
