About This Vintage Gibson Guitar
1936 Gibson L-7 w/ OHSC #93412
This is an outstanding clean and original 1935 Gibson L-7! It is well conserved and very exciting to be around and play! It was obtained from Gruhn's over 20 years ago and then enjoyed in a collection since. The owner is downsizing houses and downsizing his collection.
The original tuners and case are included in the sale. The luthier who serviced the instrument during the last owners guardianship likes to replace old tuners with modern direct replacements. The original Grovers appear to be clean and usable. A New pickguard was made to accommodate a Kent Armstrong 2-D Micro-Humbucker and is interchangable with the original pickguard and DeArmond Pickup!
Notes: There is a little material missing from the first fingerboard inlay. The High E frets out at 17 - 18 - 19 frets. All other notes ring true. It is setup for fast easy play.
The guitar will ship in a modern TKL case and I will ship the original case separately.
