About This Vintage Martin Guitar
1962 Martin D-21 #182706
When you work at a guitar store (not in Nashville) your whole life, this happens every couple of years. An uncirculated old guitar surfaces and I'm honored to bring it to market. This was owned by the same family since 1962. The nephew of the original owner brought it to me.
This guitar has been played for thousands of hours and was cared for it's entire life. There are no cracks. The fingerboard has big divots. It needs a full refret and neck set. It is playable, so you'll be able to hear the big beautiful voice before getting it serviced.
There is one ding by the nut that looks like it has been touched up. There is a slight bit of glue that squeezed out of the strap button install. There is no button in the heel! The little piece of paper is a fun little add on. The nephew told me that Unc got life insurance to insure the guitar.
It will ship in a New Deluxe TKL case.
