About This Martin Guitar
2011 Martin 000-18GE 1937 Golden Era #1492909
This guitar has a great broken in tone and has aged beautifully patina. Zeus' thunderbolt struck this top. The bearclaw is very exaggerated and looks amazing!
This guitar was manufactured while Martin was having the "whisker cracks" issue where there are a few finish checks that fire off from the bridge. The case handle was damaged and replaced with a skinny leather strap.
This is a player grade instrument. There are several dings from jamming, but nothing that is huge or ugly that shows up in my pictures. There is moderate fretwear in the first position.
