The Martin 000-28 is one of the most refined and expressive models in the 2025 Standard Series refresh, delivering classic rosewood tone in a comfortable Auditorium body size. This version features a beautiful 1933 Ambertone top, adding vintage-inspired warmth and visual depth to a timeless design.

Built with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the 000-28 produces a rich, harmonically complex voice with clear trebles, focused bass, and excellent note separation. The 000 body size enhances midrange presence and control, making it ideal for fingerstyle, light strumming, and recording applications.

The 2025 refresh features Golden Era (GE) scalloped X-bracing, allowing the top to move more freely for increased responsiveness, added shimmer, and improved dynamic range. The 24.9" short scale length provides a softer, more relaxed feel, perfect for nuanced playing styles.

Playability is enhanced with a Modified Low Oval neck profile, long diamond neck transition, sleeker vintage-style heel, and a thinner ebony fingerboard with gently beveled comfort edges. The addition of an angled nut improves string alignment and overall feel.
