Built with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the D-28 delivers a powerful, full-range voice with deep bass, rich overtone content, and clear, articulate trebles. The dreadnought body provides exceptional projection and headroom, making it ideal for strumming, flatpicking, and vocal accompaniment.
The updated Golden Era (GE) forward-shifted scalloped bracing allows the top to move more freely, resulting in increased openness, stronger low-end response, and a more dynamic tonal range.
Playability is elevated with a GE Modified Low Oval neck profile, long diamond neck transition, sleeker vintage-style heel, and a thinner fingerboard with gently beveled comfort edges. The addition of an angled nut improves string alignment and overall feel.
