Build Overview
Rare 1960s Bil-Ter Double Neck Pedal Steel Guitar by Bill Harp & Terrell Scribner
This double-neck pedal steel guitar was handcrafted in the 1960s by Bill Harp and Terrell Scribner in Trenton, Ohio. The underside is engraved “BIL-TER CII TRENTON O.” The machined components, pedals, electronics, and overall construction reflect a high level of craftsmanship and professional assembly. This is a substantial, well-built instrument with impressive weight and durability.
There are no knee levers.
The guitar was originally built for Marvin Spencer, though I have been unable to locate any additional information about him.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you would like additional photos.
I will also be working on recording audio samples and will update the listing once they are available.
